How To Object To Meta Using Your Information To Develop Their AI

Just a heads up – Meta is gearing up to expand their AI capabilities, and part of this involves using our information to train their systems. By law, we all have the right to object to how our data is used, so if you’re not comfortable with this, you’ll need to take action by June 26, 2024.

Here’s what you need to do…

Fill in the form, they’ll send you a security code to your email address to confirm that it’s you, and then you get a pop up message that says they will consider your request to opt out.

Pretty much straight away I got an email that says:

“We’ve reviewed your request and will honor your objection. This means your request will be applied going forward.”

If you’ve not had the email through, or it’s got lost in your spam, you can use this link to register your objection
