How To Control Who Gets Served Your Posts On Facebook

Have you ever though twice about posting something work related on Facebook because it feels a bit weird to have your family and friends watching?

Yep me too. Even though I’m not usually too bothered about what people think, (I can’t pay the bills with people’s opinions) I had a nice little reminder this week that not everyone needs to see ALL of your content…

As you know I can be a bit sweary at times, and my sense of humour isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, so you can imagine my delight when, on holiday with Paul’s family, my mother-in-law clicks on one of my reels and Miriam Margoyles dulcet tones explode into the room dropping F bombs left, right, and centre

😲 🤦‍♀️
Doh!

This was one occasion when I should have practiced what I preach and excluded certain people from seeing my post, but I was giddy about the fact that I had a quick window of enough 4G to actually post a video, and just posted with abandon…

Lesson learnt!

So, in this episode of BMTV I’m going to show you how you can avoid embarrassing yourself like I did by showing you how you can control who gets served your posts on Facebook by using the custom lists feature...

If you found this little tip useful, please do let me know, and if you’ve got any embarrassing stories you’d like to share to make me feel better about my poor choices then I’d love to hear them too, either drop me an email, or come and join the conversation ion my socials.
